U18ブータン代表帯同 - Through Football

夏の合宿帯同第3弾！

約1ヶ月に渡り帯同し続けた合宿の最後はブータンU18代表チームでした。

9月15日(土)から9月25日(火)までブータンU18がトレーニングキャンプをJヴィレッジと星槎箱根キャンパスで行い、リエゾンとして帯同してきました。

From 15th to 25th of September, Bhutan U18 National Team had a training camp at J Village and Seisa Hakone Campus. I attended with them as a liaison officer.

個人的には去年に引き続き2回目。このキャンプ期間で更に選手のことも知れたし、footballを通して更にブータンの国民性や生活環境も垣間見れました。

Personally it was a second time since last year. Throughout this camp period, I knew the players better and understood and saw the national character and the living environment of Bhutan.

日本の同じ年代のチームと対戦していく中で、大敗することもあれば僅差で惜しいところまでいく試合もありました。

There were some games they lost with many goals conceded and there were some so close.

ただスコアでは見えない気持ちの部分、準備の部分、そして個人個人が通用した・しなかった部分は彼らにとってかけがえのない財産になったと思います。

However the thing you cannot see if you just look at the score, for example the emotion, preparation and personal strength and weakness, had become precious experience for the boys.

またオフではプールやビーチ、電車や水族館などブータンには無い初めての経験をした選手も多く、喜んでもらえて嬉しい反面と色々と考えさせられました。

Also off the pitch, we went to the place where it was a first time for most of the players such as the swimming pool, beach, train and aquarium. I’m glad that they enjoyed but also I had some thoughts through this.

今回1週間ほど滞在したJヴィレッジでは、ブータン代表がリニューアルオープンして以来初めて来た海外チームとなりました。

We stayed at J Village about a week and we were the first foreign team to visit since the facility’s renewal.

施設の方々皆さんが丁寧な対応をして下さり、チームはもちろんのこと、東北が初めてだった僕にも良い思い出となりました！

All the people at J village took care of us very well and not just the team but also for me who is first time at Tohoku area got good memories!
